Dr. Forsman Named Medical Director of Fennville Medical Center
Allegan Professional Health Services (APHS) is pleased to announce Kenneth Forsman, MD, has been named the full-time provider and Medical Director of the Fennville Medical Center. Dr. Forsman is a board-certified Family Practice physician with over 30 years of experience.
“I am very excited to be part of the Fennville community,” said Dr. Forsman. “It is a great community. I like small towns and the feel of a small town, personal practice.”
He enjoys taking care of both men and women of all ages from young children to seniors. He also enjoys sports medicine and helping student athletes stay healthy.
Dr. Forsman believes as a doctor, it is his job to help educate and teach his patients, so they can make the best possible decision for their health.
“I see the patient-doctor relationship as a collaborative one,” said Dr. Forsman. “The best part of medicine is talking with and listening to my patients. I want to find out from the patient what is going on in their life and if they are having medical issues, what they think the problem is.”
He attended Indiana University at Indianapolis Medical School and then completed his Family Practice residency in Madison, Wisconsin through the University of Wisconsin.
When he isn’t busy treating patients, Dr. Forsman likes to be outdoors. He enjoys bicycling, skiing, running, and kayaking. He also enjoys music and plays the piano, soprano sax, cello and oboe.
